... keeps your printer fit!

Forum members who don't print much will notice that the nozzles get clogged after a week of non use.
Specialists here recommend to print a nozzle check twice a week to prevent this. But a nozzle check printout is dull, so people often forget it.

Printing one or two crosswords a day is more fun and the printouts are useful.

It is important to use ALL the various ink cartridges - dye based colors as well as pigment color(s) - when printing your weekly maintenance print out. This is one reason why the nozzle print is so useful as it will use every cartridge color. Also, the nozzle check is easy on the print head and is substantially less risk to causing a permanent nozzle(s) burnout versus printing a color or colors more extensively, thereby allowing one to often identify an issue early on.

If your crossword puzzle had colors that used every cartridge in its printing then you would have a "twofer" (two for the price of one) -- keeping your printer and your mind fit! :thumbsup
