Inventive and a tool for conserving resources. How does one control the conditions of the discarded food to maintain safety?

Who knew my mother was way ahead of the times when she used stale bread to make meatloaf, stuffing and bread pudding. :love

We have no food waste left over to give to my 3D printers..

All our food shells and skins go to my compost heap and food scraps go to the dog and the left over bread is shares out to the birds in the garden, and the printers just have to make do with the PLA..:D.
