I like this guy's channel and was pretty excited to see him going at this test.

I'm surprised he did the ABS first and then the PLA. It makes me think he didn't really have much experience with them to try the PLA first (being way more sensitive to heat) and that it would definitely fail first:


A fun experiment, but no surprise that there was no way any 3D printed plastics would have lasted very long.

When the Car industry started to get out of cast iron cylinder blocks, they had the same problem using Aluminium, till Steels sleeves and titanium heads came along, so don’t write off plastic just yet...
would need to print at least 45 gaskets to make it through cutting my grass. :D
I find half a glass works best... :drool O' sorry I taught you meant glass... :hu
