    Wow, this is very cool!



    To think how much more simple this is than the older systems that used hundreds of cameras and/or thousands of videos!

    Now, time to build this into our phones to make them awesome 3D scanners!!!

    The most difficult part when the scanning is over is removing the background and clean up of the scan. There are several good programs for doing it but unfortunately they are expensive. I will take a look at those apps as I want to create 3D models of people to include the head an shoulders. My aim is to create scaled down pilots for our RC club members to use in their models.
