The pos ts8120 I bought is almost outta ink, with no resetter in sight. Need a new plan.
We hardly print anymore, the kids have grown and are outta the house, but we still want a multi-function printer for occasional printing/scanning.
Looking of course for the best cost to quality ratio of...
I just can't seem to win.
Contacted my usual source for ink, Precision Colors and he told me there is no chip resetter for my new printer.
Nothing at all on ebay.
Once I saw the carts it took, I just assumed there'd be ink etc available for it.
How badly am I screwed..??
Thanks.
Edit:
Pixma 710. Ran flawlessly forever, upgraded to SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 500GB NVMe,
and now despite everything looking good, prints nothing at all.
Goes through the motions, but pages come out blank...
Thoughts...??
thanks.
Honestly, I am intrigued by the thought of not having to fill the carts very often.... but I have read conflicting opinions on the ciss thingys.
Is there an actually viable system for the mx712...??
Are some better than others...??
Are there even any that are advisable...??
Or, are they all...
Print head died and it's likely cheaper to replace the printer. Thing is I need regular access to my printer so being without one while a new print head makes it's way from China not a very viable option.
So...
I came across a deal on an mx712./ Any good..??
And other suggestions welcome...
Hi guys.
Been rolling along great until today... and now for some reason majenta reset fails... tried two different carts.
Others filled up fine this afternoon.
Thoughts...???
Just popping in to say hello. Joined a couple years ago when I got my (then) new mx870, been refilling it successfully ever since with info I gleaned from here... using the inks from "Precision Color", as recommended. And I can honestly say, never a moment of trouble...
