Either continue using it as a black only printer or get a new print head, because your current head is well past its sell by date..

Try running that scan test print again on ten plain paper sheets, then run another nozzle check and see if there’s a big difference.. Al printers use a lot of ink when you try to unclog them, the answer is don’t let them clog in the first place, run a test print weekly..

You’ve got something going seriously wrong inside you printer.. The PM has improved but the Cyan is still terrible, but you now have the Magenta back, with a normal cleaning cycle all of the colour blocks should improve and be 100%, so you need to do something else as well.. Try running the...

Lines - Canon Pro 1000 Printing Issue

Your PM and Cyan are not looking great at all, I’d run a couple of cleaning cycles on that side of the head that contains the two poor colours, then leave it to stand for half an hour and print another nozzle cycle.. Don’t go printing any more test sheets until you can get a good clear nozzle...

    Cheapest 3D printer ever?

I sometimes laugh at some of the new printer designs, but are they truly new designs, or just gimmicks.. Over the years I’ve found the older designs are better at what they do, but spare parts are getting harder to get, the one thing I do like is how easy to fix they are on the fly.. No matter...

Yes its dead, and there’re nothing you can do about it, if you can find another new head somewhere out there then go for it, but be warned don’t be tempted to buy from EBay, they only sell refurbished heads that are broke and will never work.. Sorry !

Is your 3D printer killing you slowly?

They may be all bad, but where does that leave us, we could live our lives in a plastic bubble in our house and never come out, or do what most of us do, and be dammed. If you can’t enjoy life then what’s the point of living (Existing), I wouldn’t change a thing in my life.. and no I don’t want...

New printer or continue with my Pro-10S

Continue with your trusty Pro 10, but refill with OEM inks from the already mentioned Canon printers, you have a price choice of 40ml carts, 80ml carts, or 130ml carts all with the same inks as used in the Pro 10, that way you can change out your carts when one is nearing empty.. The how long...

Canon Pro 10S Purchase advice please

OK when you disable an ink cart (Any colour) you can then refill it and use it again and again, the ink monitoring will only return when you install a brand new cart or when you re-set the chip on the same usable cart, You must monitor the ink usage manually yourself.. If you didn’t use two...

Canon Pro-10 - Is My Print Head Faulty?

The standard Canon nozzle check should always be run on plain copy paper, anyone else saying different is talking through their hat.. That’s what Canon.Inc recommend.. Remember it uses both photo and matte black and one is incompatible with Glossy paper..
