I inherited a epson xp 630... with lots and lots of new inks. When I print normally on regular paper setting I don't get it to print. When I move the setting to glossy paper it prints fine. But of course very slow. And thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks. Here's what I just tried...

I've filled so many Canon carts over the last 15 years. Even if the life of my cheap printers was shortened I am positive I am far ahead. My latest Canon does not print black anymore. A new head is ridiculous and over the years no technique I have ever tried fixed a problematic print head. With...
I refilled Canons with CLI carts for years... Now it's time for a new cheap printer that can be refilled. I have heard Brother is good? But then it comes to which model because I see even similar models use different carts. I'm tired of researching this and just looking for advise on a decent...
I've been using Canon printers with CLI carts for 15 years and have saved tons of money by refilling. Hard to know when the printers stopped doing a good job printing it was the refill factor or they just were done? My latest Canon is giving me issues and i think it's time for a new one. Can you...
My Canon ix6520 is hooked up to my pc.. Our wireless pc laptop has no problem printing as long as the desktop is on.. works great. The wife just got a mac laptop through school and yesterday after 2 + hours I never got it to print. I was going down the wrong path for awhile trying to configure...
Hate to keep asking the same thing... but my head is spinning reading so many posts and trying to sift through to find my answer.. So I picked up the MG5420 and I get conflicting opinions on the ease of refilling and the longevity of the chip..
Another available model is the ix6520 that uses...
This is my third canon and it's been years since I needed to learn how to communicate with the printer when using the carts that I filled.
So the two pieces of advice I am searching for from the folks here are:
What do I do when the printer wants a "NEW" cart and not the old one I refilled ...
I've been filling my canon printers for a long long time so I would like to keep with the canon carts since I have had great success refilling and I also just got a new supply of inks.. I want to spend anywhere from $80 to $130 for a new one. I have a nice scanner so don't need that unless the...
Presently I have a Pixma ip4300.. This is my 2nd or 3rd canon that I have been refilling myself and I can't imagine how much I have saved.. LOTS. I never reset the carts and have no problems. Sometimes after filling it can take many cleanings to get it to print but it always had. I have found...
I just filled my first cart on our new mp560.. I've been looking for the technique for resetting the printer to except the cart.. I don't care about ink level info... thanks
I have always drilled a hole at the top of the cart and filled from there.. I see some instructions show you to remove the ball and do it from there... what is the difference ??
I just go another printer that has the same carts as my older printer. I have a refill kit but only enough plugs for the first set. So what can I use that could be found at a hardware store to plug the new carts after filling..
Thanks
If my printer is toast I would like to replace it with another canon that uses the cli-8 inks..
or any other printer that I could use the same refill kit that I have. I've filled so many of these carts that I am quite comfortable doing it, after spilling my share of ink.. (on paper) I have...
I tried all the hold down button suggestions online. I took out the head and put it back in.. I didn't do anything to the head except wiggled it good when putting it back in and still have 5 blinking orange lights.
I do hope to get this running again.. if it is toast I would like to purchase...
I have been using what seems like the easy method with success.. just drill a hole in the ink chamber, fill and plug.. I see other instructions with two holes.. removing the ball ????

This is the larger black cart from the cli series.. It did run dry..
I refilled it and cannot get it to work.. It's the the printer because I moved it into another canon printer I have and it does not work there either... Can it be saved.
I get an error .... ink tank error, replace ink tanks on which ink lamps are off.
These tanks are original canon tanks refilled once.. They worked fine after refill and then it began blinking. It seems to be the yellow and large black.. I have a ip4200 in the house and tried putting them in...
Printer keeps giving me warning messages about the empty cartridge one after another screen and then the canon warning about the cartridge... takes many screens before I can print again. This is all after I replaced the cart and already went through these messages and held down the printers...
I read the instructions on how to fill.. basically just drill the whole in the reservoir tank.. fill... use his plug.. cover air intake and squeeze sponge section until about 5 drops come out and your done.. I've been reading through some posts here and all seem more involved than this.. So...
