Another hobby of mine is classic cars.
Parts is a pain for those.
Say You have an old xxx-classic car and one has dismounted a dash instrument and find a broken/weared metal part in there....
Way out?
Being a structural designer when young I think my knowledge in 3D-autocading/modelling...
@pharmacist I have got the chips as well now. It seems as You can cut those down with a Dremel cutter to physically fit the superior OEM carts and glue them on.
Normally these auto resett when pulled out.
My questions:
1/ Does this chip show ink level in a somewhat proper way?
2/ Do they not...
...bought a full roll...now testing for a panorama....is this it really a shit paper...anyone know a connoisseur one and the cheapest
alibaba inks for it.....doesn't seems that bad. (P800 plus roll feeder)
(OK -pals from photo club here - Copyright! Talked about 3D printers @The Hat - they told...
I think that summaries it all - what's happening in the print head is classified by the makers.
To complicated to fully explain/guess/understand and to take advantage of.
Manufacturer tells us in glossy folders how it works. Then it's stop. Rest is secrets.
Care and maintenance helps! (Perhaps...
@The Hat... I do not understand Your joy at all. Can You tell me the what's amusing You while we are doing the real thing and are happy solving our problems so exellent.
I have not laughed at Your doggie pee lamp in Your garden and will not. Gentleman You know!
Each to his own! 😎
By the way...
You are totaly wrong!
I'm a berserk.
That's worse...
And in this case I simply do not believe You - on other places on the Internet I have read that those printheads are laminated toghther in several layers with different materials. I do not know but it says this "press glued" layers might...
HE HE HE..... Almost ashamed.....I did clean the white tile before with 99% isoprophanol. Hard to get there. I thought I did it very well.
Before the i1pro2 was going to the bin I thought it might still be contaminated into the material through the surface and into it.
So I dismounted the tile...
This is not about fading - just my first impression of Epson OEM HD-inks on a Sihl Masterclass baryt paper on a Epson HD printer P800. That paper has no sticky coating - seems to be pure baryt on a stiff hard celloluse board. Nice feeling in it self.
First cleared the printer with @pharmacist...
Is there a secret how to fold out the viper blade for easier cleaning while at it cleaning the caping station?
EDIT:
Sat down thinking - when the carrage is going back after cleaning the capping station. That is - you have earlier pulled the plug to stop the carrige out in the printing area...
That's not in the interest of print makers!
They are the smart ones to sell as much as possible of their inks!
Do not think Your printer is smart!
However - You can outsmart the printer in some ways.
One way is to be an Ink Cheater putting Pirate Ink in it!
What You describe sounds correct and make sense! Now the i1pro3 is out and there is a chance there is another one,
worse than me and want to "stay tuned" with the very very latest. For me the second to that is good enough - I'll
find his/hers "left over" hopefully just used for hobby. I'm not...
Spent a day trying to figure out why my profiles gave a soft almost invisible yellow cast in the middle of the gray scales in M2 measuring.
On another paper OBA profiles was outstanding with the help of colorchecker PROOF (those with the holes).
Had to reload "Colormunki photo software" to...
@mikling
That is an importent observation to remember when changing inks sets.
Read my other "total clog" using Octopus head strong cleaning/preserversion fluid to clean and totally purge the 3880.
Fiasko - however in the end a totally polished 3880 inside. Ended luckily thought.
This...
Thanks pals... have a feeling that Your say concludes it all.
In a way, in a perfect world, a perfect set of YMCK should make it all - however when not even K really is black etc a complex engineering must kick in to simulate that Y is Y, M is M, C is C and fool the K to be K by mixing them...
