Hi guys, Rickkins here. Been a member since 2011, but forgot old password and likely had a no longer used email registered. Shit happens.

Anyhoo, my Canon G3200 big tank printer has developed a weird problem, namely that it will no longer follow a command from windows to scan. I can copy manually no problem. I can scan using the canon app on my phone.

It's not my computer either, running Amd Ryzen 7 5800X on an Gigabyte X570 with 32GB ram.
And it used to scan just fine.

Any thoughts..??
Thanks.

So yea, giving up. Even had a tech take remote control to no avail. What a pile of junk. Just gonna run a freakin usb cable as there's really only so much time I'm willing to devote to this.
Oh, and never gonna buy a Canon ever again...

Let’s hope you don’t have to eat your word on that one… :hide
Yea, there's always that possibility I guess. Realistically, this is a windows problem and not a Canon problem, but one has to think that they should have found a viable fix by now.

My cable from Amazon ought to be here today, so...:thumbsup
