Hi all,

I have a new Epson P-5000 that I've been printing with for around a month now with no problems, and recently (the last two weeks) when Monday morning comes I have clogged nozzles.

I would love it if Epson had included some sort of automatic function where the printer would wake up and print a nozzle test once or twice a day! (New feature request for Epson?)

I don't normally have access to the printer on the weekends, so some sort of an automatic printing solution would be great.
any suggestions?

Don't you still have warranty for this printer ? It's pretty early for clogged nozzles

Probably you can install Epson iPrint connect app on your mobile phone and print from home to your device. Why you have clogged nozzle via wikend, wet in your room is normal ?Maybe you must adjust position of cap on pump station. Adj program has your Epson service.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will look in to the Epson connect app., although I'm not if it would work as this printer is set up in a business and is networked.
The weather is getting colder here (which means lower humidity) so that may be a factor.

You're right, a call to Epson would be wise. Your comment made me wonder... are clogged nozzles more common the older a printer is?

Yes, Ink cartridges are all pretty new.
Is the adjustment cap and easy to do? Also I'm not sure what you mean by "cr position".
If I make the adjustments do I void my warranty?

As you stated in this comment, once the temp drops you will get this issue. My print shop will get pretty cold during the night (around 45/50 degrees). I dont print during the weekend and when I get into the shop on Mondays the printers I have at times will have missing bits from the nozzle checks.

I have two P series (24" and 44"). They both have this issue if not used for a couple of days. But simple cleaning always gets the nozzle check back to perfect.
