Hello All,

When I acquired my 9880 I got with it a set of refillable cartridges with a resetter. Only one ever had ink in it. There are no marks on them to say who made them & I'm a little nervous about using them. I have several full or partial OEM carts with bad chips so the printer thinks they are empty. I could recover that ink if I trusted the carts. And would it be okay to mix these in the printer with OEM carts?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello.

Are you asking if you can add the OEM ink with the empty refillable carts? If so, yes, you should no have a problem with adding Epson ink in the refillable carts.

The refillable carts shouldn't give you any problem. They're most likely just the generic china carts you can get for Epson printers. As long as they reset with the resetter you should be good.

There are plenty of good companies to get pigment inks to refill those carts.
