Hello everyone.
I have just bought Kyocera ecosys m5521cdw MFP. I set it up on a windows desktop and made a shared forlder where I can send scaned documents to using wifi.

Printer setup over wifi for my Macbook was also verry easy, but I cannot set it up to scan over wifi. Can anyone hel and explain how to do this?

I have made a shred folder om my Mac, created a new user my printer setup using IP adress, correct computer name, but it still reports an error.

Thanks,
Mik

@Mik_one, I don’t do Wi-Fi, so I could be wrong, but as far as I can tell, you can’t use the scanner on your printer with Wi-Fi..

@The Hat I actually am using scanner with wifi on my windows devices. I use it though a share function on the printer. First I create a shared forlder on my windows Pc, add the shared fileto printers adress book, and send the scans to a shared folder.

I tryed to do the same on my MacBook, but I am getting the error messgae saying some of the settings are wrong. It must be that for Ip adress (host name), port or computer's name on Mac I should search/use something different then on windows PC. Or I am missing something in folder sharing setup on my Mac.
