This is awesome!

Wondering if i can scale it up for rats?
That not a bad trap, but it’s a little cramped and would need to be upscaled in the slicer before making a Gcode out of it..

I don’t love the rodents that much that I would wish to keep them alive, I’m more your judge Roy Bean... :old :D

So, a follow-up:

I checked on this contraption once a day for a week, then once a week for a month, and since I never saw anything happen, I never checked on it again.

... until today.

I'm not sure how long it's been going, but at the bottom of the bucket there was about 5 inches of putrid soup. I thought it was just yucky water, but it was too dark to be just water.

I went WAY out in the field behind my house and dumped it out. It didn't take long to see a few tails... but that's pretty much all I was able to make out before getting sick.

So, yeah, um... it worked.

Reminder... here's what it looked like before the bucket got, um, dirty (listen to how well it rolls!!!):

Funny you should mention your roller trapeze, I was disappointed in the one I made, because I only got two mouse, all that work and few showed up, but I did get 8 rats with my outside bait. (My usual score was 5 mice and 3 rats..)

I’ll be setting up my roller bucket and peanut bar treat again at the end of this month when the weather turns, but right now it’s still 10c temp. at night and the little guys are happily playing in the garden enjoying the Autumn sun..

With the new younger dog in the garden the rats will have to be careful, because he’s very fast, but the down side is he finds all my rat bait with his nose and scatters it all over the Feckin garden, time for a re-think..

I never sit and watch the printer, I leave it to get on with its work, and if it goes belly up, (Ball of wool) I clean the glass and start again, and my mouse tally so far this month is 2 and the cold weather haven’t even started yet it’s only 8c at night..
P.S. would you fancy sitting through a 96 hour print…:epMy lungs couldn’t take it…
