Thanks to a great post on this forum, I scored a Pro-10 at Murphy's Cameras for $100 including shipping. Thanks again for that information! And to think I was getting ready to spend $450 ($700 minus the $250 rebate) at B&H!

But now I have a three-year old Pro-100 that I cannot even give away. Sigh. E-waste, here I come. What I do have, though, are 21 perfectly good genuine Canon CLI-41 ink cartridges.

I know this group mostly refills its own cartridges. But does anyone have any tips on the best way to sell these Canon cartridges? Thirteen are individual packages and the other is an 8-pack. I haven't looked into whether I can return them to Canon, where I bought them, but I suspect that may be problematic because of the all free paper that came with the purchases. I am hoping someone may have an alternative to Ebay, which was my first thought.

Suggestions?

Welcome to the forum, LisaVorder.

Craigslist is an option.

Look on both eBay and Craigslist for what others are selling the cartridges for. On eBay, you can search for already sold items so you can see what have been successful pricing.

Craigslist has no-fees. It generally hooks up local people. In other words, someone in your area meets with you to buy the item. Because of this, meeting in a very public place and not at your home is often the best policy. You can give ut your telephone number or not in the ad but most likely you will have a phone conversation before the sale is transacted.. Email is done through Craigslist servers, so neither participant knows the others full email address.

I have sold on Craigslist with good results. It can take longer to sell than on eBay. Often the buyer will want to negotiate a better price. Just something to think about.

Hi Lisa, I'm in Pleasant Hill and would kindly take the pro-100 off your hands and maybe one set of cartridges. PM me with your price.
