I looked at this link, but it doesn't mention the "L Printer Service" tool. FYI, the "L Printer Service" tool will allow you to get around an error that pops up on the Canon IPF printers allowing you to do more research into why a particular error is occurring. If anyone has experience with this, I'm all ears...

Thanks for the link! I checked out this link and indeed they had a link to version 1.5 of this program. However, getting the link to download the zip file is another story. I had to register for the website, which I did, but the link still didn't work so I believe that the website hasn't actually got me active yet. I haven't received any notification thru email of my registration, so I'm patiently waiting my acceptance.

Apparently the latest ver. no. is 1.80 not that it's any easier to find. Incidentally what model Prograf do you have, that would help to narrow it down a bit.

It's funny, I can find every type of firmware - driver - plugin and lord knows what else for that printer but not the tool required.
It's a bit late here in the UK but I'll continue the search tomorrow...if it's out there I'll locate it !
