Welcome to the forum. Very interesting subject.

There is a link to his web site on the video's YouTube page (click "YouTube" lower right of the video) where he lists the what he is using and instruction on how to do it:

https://wiki.shackspace.de/doku.php?id=project:beta-layout:pcbprinter.

I would suggest following his methods unless you find other information. There are other videos from other people about the same process when you go to the actual YouTube page of the video you posted. Could be other suggestions on methods and inks to do the same task.

The problem is that normal water based printer ink is not suitable as an etch resist. A special ink is needed. Only Epson and maybe Brother printers with their piezoelectric print heads can handle this ink. Thermal print heads used by Canon, HP, Lexmark and others cannot handle the special ink needed. If you search the web you will find many instructions about converting Epson printers to direct to PCB flat bed printers.

I agree with you. All articles I read and videos I saw the printer was mode "Dvd printer" with "special" ink to do this task.
This is mean which I will need change the printer model or can I use this special ink on this cartridge lexmark?
Maybe I don't understand...the characteristic to can printer on cooper must to the special ink or the special technology plus special ink?

Thanks to all of you

Most ink jet printers use thermal print heads. These print heads heat the ink to create a vapour bubble that ejects the ink, this is a hot process. The piezoelectric print heads used by Epson and Brother use a mechanical pumping action for ejecting the ink, this is a cold process. The special ink for PCB making would probably ruin a thermal print head. At least there seems to be no instructions for turning a thermal ink jet printer into a PCB printer.
