PGI550 + CLI551 refill cartridge

I'm a bit new to refilling and have just purchased a Canon MG5550 with the intent of buying some refillable cartridges. From what I've read with the existing arc chips there's no way of counting pages which is ok. However, there seems to be some sort of prism infra red sensor which gives a critical warning with the canon made cartridges. My question is do the refillable cartridges you can buy online (ie octoinkjet) come with these prisms built in? Just to know if I'll get a warning of low ink before I fry the printheads!

These compatibles cartridges that you intend getting will have the same built in prism that are on all OEM cartridges. (Exactly the same)
