I have been experimenting with my Epson R2000 and tried a refill ink from Ebay and I was disappointed by the quality (very low gloss, lots of clogging) and I decided to mix my own ink with astonishing good results.

This is my mix:

-GO: use OCP GO, which is the best aftermarket GO
-Yellow, (V)Magenta, Cyan, Photo Black and Matte Black use the pure Inktec Powerchrome K3 versions
-orange: 2 parts (V) Light Magenta + 1 part of (V) Magenta + 6 parts of Yellow
-red: 2 parts (V) Magenta + 1 part (V) Light Magenta + 1 part of Yellow

Good skin tones and bright reds and oranges can be obtained with this mix after proper profiling.

I keep telling myself that I don’t want a 3880, don’t want a 3880, but resistance is weakening and becoming futile, if I could only convince the wife that an A2 of the grandkids would look great.. :duc penny for your taught Ian.. :D
