Cross Reference List of Digital Photographic Papers

This is the start of a full Guide for the whole guide visit
www.opusalbums.com/digital-photographic-papers-compared

OPUSalbums.com has prepared a number of lists of digital photo papers, classifying them according to manufacturer/supplier/brand and the type of paper. We are covering professional grades of photo, photo art, archival papers and canvas from 200gsm upwards.

Of course all papers are a bit different and there is no attempt to grade them according to quality only the type of substrate/coating and the weight.

Although we are in the business of supplying Innova and Olmec paper and albums we have tried to be totally fair. If anybody finds anything that should be changed and/or added please could they contact daniel@opuslabums.com .

Thanks for the list.

A few comments:
1. The link to the full guide doesn't work for me.
2. I use Ilford Classic Pearl (13"x19"), and it is single sided matte (not double sided gloss). You CAN print on the back, but it makes a real mess. Their "Pearl" papers have a matte finish and their "Smooth" papers have a gloss finish.
3. I may be wrong, but I thought that Canon Photo Paper Pro was also single sided.
4. It would be nice to include whether the paper is suitable for pigment inks. For example, the Ilford Classic series use a swellable coating and aren't suitable for pigment inks. You could also just list the type of coating used to absorb the ink.
