This is the first aftermarket Canon cart I have seen that does not have the hold down tabs on the front of the cart. The felt disk in the cart has no pressure holding it down on the intake screen.

The surprise is that the label says Staples Office Supply which is supposed to sell decent stiff.

The part # on the cart is SIC-80Y.

Just fill any CLl-8 cart if you’re stuck.

Now that real quality for you..:p

Yes, I had BCI carts without any holding tab too! They were not the cheapest, KMP and Peach.

This will surely result in bad sealing from cart outlet to printhead inlet, then in sucking air and consequently in burnt out nozzles...
(so you'll need no ciss to destroy your canon printhead...bad carts may do the same:eek:)

PS: Apparently yours had sucked ink from the black channel, maybe due to bad or different sealing of the whole set..?
