Canon iX4000 Error Code Issue

Hi all,
Got an issue with my iX4000 after refilling, resetting and replacing the ink tanks (these have been done numerous times before) an onscreen error message no code number came up and the green power light is on and orange light is flashing 5 times.
Any ideas what this error means?

Did you take out the printhead and cleaned the copper contacts ? Maybe one of the cartridges is malfunctioning causing the error message. You could try to remove the printhead and cartridges and close the lid and then when the printer is telling you to install the printhead, place the printhead and cartridges back and see if the problem is gone.
