Hi new to the forum and my first question. Just bought a canon ip4850 1 month ago over the internet and noticed it creates faint bands 7 mm broad across the entire picture. The bands are the colours of the picture (not black , plain white or lines) just think of the picture formed in coloured blocks not smooth colour as it should be. They are not noticeable unless you look carefully or print at a low quality. I have used the print head cleaning cycle several times but it makes no difference. Any ideas would be helpful as I am reluctant to send it back. Thanks. :(

Get a nozzle check, make sure it's all right and do a manual head alignment.

Thanks panos , did the head alignment and it seems to have solved the problem.
