Try to install the original "OEM" cartridges into the printer and just print as usage for a while (I mean a couple of days). It would make the printer ID chip to recognize the OEM replacement cartridges. Then put yours refills back in and try the reset method again to see it would work. Good...

I'm not an expert on "ink" refill, but I can tell that if the ink from EBAY is manufactured from Asia, it's not a good quality. Which may lead to "clogging" your printhead after a few refills. Just stick to high and recommended brand, i.e. Rihac. Keep reading-up in this forum for recommendations.
