The Pro 1 is not a Pro 10, and won’t tolerate any interference, it needs a new print head and they are no longer available.. Refurnish print heads from all other sources are Caveat Emptor..

An alternative answer would be to print a self-adhesive label in black with white lettering reversed out and stick the label onto the black envelope.. Quickest option.. P.S. envelopes won’t wear your laser printer out..

No that wouldn’t work either, the black background would smother the yellow ink..

Try rolling the curl on both sides of the paper to the opposite way that it is now, and also try cleaning the underside of your print head..

If you’re interested in a Canon then why not check out the Maxify range, there’re not for everyone buy they are very reliable..

Try choosing your paper size from the printer driver first and not from any application.. Your printer is defaulting to the smaller letter size..

Try running the ink Quality Maintenance and then a nozzle check and see if that makes any difference, no worries very little ink will be used..

Uninstall the Air print driver and use the Epson print drivers instead.. That might help...

Try closing the tray and holding the Resume button in for 3 seconds, if that doesn’t work then power off the printer for 5 minutes and then power on and see if the error message has gone..

Either continue using it as a black only printer or get a new print head, because your current head is well past its sell by date..

Don’t bother with any more cleaning cycles, just do a dozen prints in a row and then see it things clear up..

Try running that scan test print again on ten plain paper sheets, then run another nozzle check and see if there’s a big difference.. Al printers use a lot of ink when you try to unclog them, the answer is don’t let them clog in the first place, run a test print weekly..

It doesn’t know how long it was stored, so it will work just fine and serve you for a long time, happy printing.. She is one heavy bugger..
