U150 error - unrecognized cart on Canon Pixma MP970

NOTS3W, Almost all the higher-end inkjet printers today have chipped carts. I guess that is what we have to face with. My first few color pictures were big disapppointment so far as all the pictures have strong bronze tone. I don't have a specific icc profile. I am using cheap Staples...

    Problems with OfficeStore Depot Order

Oops. My fast reading is not good. Like Roseanne Roseannadanna said: Never Mind!!!!!!!!!! Simon R: Outsourced customer support does not neccessary mean poor CS. In fact CS agents in India are generally very polite and helpful. But to get CS right, it requires training, language, specific...

Why shouldnt I sell the new OEM chipped carts if I refill?

I am receiving a Canon MP970 in 2 days. I refill my current pre-chipped ip6000D using Hobbicolors UW so refilling chipped carts is new to me. If I am eventually going to lose the Ink Monitor function with my new chipped carts after they run out, so why not sell these carts on eBay now (may be...

Tool to reset PG-40 and Cl-41 available....

Edit: Oops, I was referred to Manuchau's post. First the IP-tool link work. The second link does not. I follow this page (link) and find the "MPTool For MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450, MP460" article, click "read the rest of entry", at the end of the article, there is a "Download MPTool"...

Canon /ip6000D/ip6700D vs MP970 print quality

Thanks. I already have a IP6000D I brought through Criaglist for $50, specifically for easy refilling purpose. It has served me well. I have gotten a "free" MP160 from buying a laptop. And I refill that too. That does not count my other Brother 2040 Laserjet for text printing. Now I need...

Canon /ip6000D/ip6700D vs MP970 print quality

I think I am basically asking the print quality of the 1) ip6000/6700D "print engine" which has 3,072 nozzle and 6 ink (2 picoliter ink drops for ip6000D , 1 for IP6700D) 2) print engine of MP970 which has 3,584 precision nozzles and 6 ink + pigment black ink for text.

Canon /ip6000D/ip6700D vs MP970 print quality

Anyone has experience/knowledge of print quality between ip6700D and MP970? MP970 has a $100 rebate sales going on. I am interested to upgrade and consolidate some printer/scanners I have into 1 MP970.
