Since the ML-6060D6 toner/drum cartridge has it's own number of print outs , I assume each cleaning equals 1 printed page. By specs ML-6060D6 has 6k pages, so one cleaning every 700-800 pages wouldn't reduce the life of your cartridge that much.
You can start by using refill kits to refill inkjet cartridges, but I don't see much profit unless you have high demand, which you would be able to supply using just the refill kits.
Solely my opinion. Anybody else?
As far as I know, HP don't have visible holes on their cartridges. They should not be any signs of damages as well
Usually when you buy a cartridge in a retail box and factory sealed, they should be OEM (original) cartridges. Nevertheless there always are people who would try to take advantage...
I have to agree with ian here - if you keep the cartridge in a dry place, it should last for years.
Inks for example if not opened, have like 2 years shelf life.
Hi Serville,
both PG-210 and CL-211 (regular capacity) contain 9 ml of ink when sold as compatible, so I guess that's their capacity. Not sure about the PG-240 / CL-241

Generally, there are 3 types of aftermarket cartridges:
1. Remanufactuerd - most of the components of the OEM cartridges are used -- recycled or just cleaned
2. Clones - build from scratch, new components built on the OEMs basis.
3. Compatible - more like the clones, but the manufacturers have...
Hi gepp,
have you tried the Canon official site to download the manual?

Hope it works.
Hey,
in my opinion, the large format print outs have to be extremely high quality as resolution and colors, I don't think laser technology can do that... or may be the cost will be too high!
Any other thoughts?
Hi,
1. There should be no problems keeping the refilled cartridges for a month or two if properly sealed. As far as I remember most of the OEM ink cartridge have a shelf life of 2 years.
2. Sorry I can't help you regarding the 2nd question :(

I have good experience with Brother inkjet printers and compatible cartridges... CISS as well!
The printer itself is not expensive and the cartridges as fine as well! But that's here in US...
