I just use silicone to fill the hole I made to purge the cartridge.Now I wonder if you think I should use something else instead.Sofar I have had no problems with that.Would the silicone-when dry- affect the ink? Bertil

Buy a Canon with separate cartridges .You should be able to get one for less than 90 .They are easy to refill. Bertil

Of course you should refill at once.Otherwise you risk ruining the printhead.So dont print until you have a chance of refilling.
