I just printed off a paper with Best Quality selected and it is perfect, so my guess is that the printer defaults to lower quality to save ink.
To me that is perfect. Thanks Epson !
i find that my Epson ET-3750 has the same issue. I have not examined it to the degree you have but things come out with anything from a slightly faded to faded, whether it is text or pictures. However with my prior HPs everything was crisp and clear.
However i do not absolutely need perfect...
i am hand writing a letter which is quite long, so i would like to print the lines to follow to keep it neat, on an acetate transparency sheet.
Then i will put the lined sheet under the sheet i am hand-printing on as a guide to keep it neat.
i made a light table to shine through the two...
Thanks "The Hat". I value your thoughts and appreciate your many helpful replies in addition to this one and agree that it's best to keep the chin up and pray and send kindness for the dead.
I'm a bit late to say hello but I'd like to wish a happy holidays to everyone here and express my sincere wish for a happy and prosperous new year for everyone !

Sadly the natives of Canada have not so rosy a picture of QE2 as they seem to all know a story of how she came to Canada in the 60s and left with a dozen native children who were never seen again. This feeds the rumours of her and her family's Pagan allegiance.
Her Royal Canadian Mounted...
I recently printed a number of 8.5 x 11 photos and then when I went back to doing documents the printer still prints with the Best printing option.
In the Media & Quality section of the printer dialogue box I select Auto Select and it shows Normal but yet it prints every document @ Best...
Is it possible that the rubber that feeds the paper is dirty? Maybe try cleaning it with say a Q-tip and some isopropinal alcohol. Rubbing alcohol.
In one printer of mine the roller slipped off the rod that drove it and had to be glued back on.
I am setting up for borderless photo printing on my et-3750 from my imac Monterey 12.6.7 .
When I set it up now in "preview" it shows a border. I want the photos to be full size as in almost touching each other (because I need it larger) on a 8.5" x 11 Canon GP-701 glossy paper.

Here is a post that I made about the situation. Live and learn.
Thanks Ink stained fingers,
I tried this site because they listed my ET 3750, but when I paid it didn't work. It said something along the lines of this model is not supported.
Just cleaned my waste bin on my Epson ET3750. I am curious, is there a way to reuse that "waste" ink? Seems like a massive waste. Took me a long time just to clean the pad. Thanks.
I just got this message.A quick search landed these instructions for removing the bin and cleaning.
What are you folks doing re: resetting the counter?
This info may not be apropos for your situation but I have an Epson ET3750 with tanks for each colour. I notice that it is best to keep the tank levels up higher as the colours don't show as well. I tried to make gold and ended up with some shade of pink.
The problem was not obvious at all...
I have some old photo paper. It's old because I rarely print photos. Does it go bad with age?
It is Epson Quality Flossy Paper S041124 On the back it says K1CF1S10
Prints come out dark. Is it my printer or the paper? I have an ET-3750
I need photographs of property that will be kept on file...
I am preparing to print this book. I have not decided on the type of binding yet. It's a toss up between this and a variation of this.
Method one is labour intensive, but I end up with a book that will lay fairly flat after it is finished.
What my issue is: I want to be able to shift the PDF...
Happy New Year,
I am making a booklet with 8.5 x 5.5 sheets on my ET3750. I am using "Booklet Creator" to convert the PDF for printing.
Can someone walk me through duplex printing this or is it even possible? I tried before with no luck.
Currently I just manually feed the paper page by page.
