    Hi stratman! Based on the method of crenedecotret, I've also written a command file to turn off the printer before I shutdown the PC. :) The Canon MX328 has a command to turn it off which can be sent using Canon's "My Printer" utility. So I copied the files on the print queue after I sent...

    I joined up to post this message! :) Thank you, crenedecotret, for this useful information. My command file contains this, but does the same job: NET USE LPT3: \\DESKTOP\CanonMX3printer COPY /B "C:\S\Printer Tests\PrinterTest\00004.SPL" LPT3 NET USE LPT3: /DELETE I run this when my PC starts.
