Hello, I'm having some trouble with color reproducibility with my Pro-10 and Precision Color inks. After making the switch to 100% PC ink, I have a magenta cast to the images, and it is still evident after flushing and refilling the PM, M, PC, C and R ink carts.
I am using Mike's most recent icc's when soft proofing, and in the printer properties window in LR, I have the manual color adjustment set to none, and I use the icc profile in the color management section of the Print Job panel in LR.
You can see a print comparison of OEM to PC ink here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rcjeske/30462197711/in/dateposted/ The bottom set of prints are with OEM ink, the top set, using PC ink. You can see the magenta cast in the sky of the top right side image, and in the clouds of the top left side image. The bottom images, with OEM ink, are nearly identical to what I see with the soft proof in LR.
I have emailed with Mike about this, and he has offered many different suggestions, but we are stumped. I've reinstalled the printer and driver, with no effect. I've tried both perceptual and relative rendering, with no effect.
If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I'm not willing to continue to print with the expensive canon OEM inks, and I've read many success stories regarding PC ink, so I'm not willing to throw in the towel yet.
Thanks!
Ryan
