Helo, AFAIK for epson there is UPDS utility, or the http://mirage.dinax.de plugin, but what about other brands like Canon, Brother, HP ???

Has anyone any information on similar utilities, hacks etc.

I have no idea, but if you happen to have a copy of the UDPS utility please share it. The website has been down for a long time.

You can download EPSON UDPS utility here:

Funny how epson released updated drivers that do not work with this utility, but mirage program still allows unlimited lenght printing on any EPSON printer.

I wonder are there any hackers on this forum? There is Ollydbg, WinDbg, and IDA Pro v5 (free), that can be used to reverse engineer dll files. Why the manufacturers limit print lenght anyway? Printing panoramas uses allot of ink, and they do profit from it, after all when you buy A3 or A2 printer you pay for printer width and now they want you to print only limited length prints??? No way.... I purchased a printer not some feature limited piece of sh........ even if those features needs to be enabled by others.

So we need to ask our friends if they know how to use a debugger, ask on hacker forums etc. We need to enable panorama printing on other brand printers.

Thank you for that... I think someone here who has a big website should re-host that permanently. I'm amazed nobody over at dpreview has commented that the program is missing in the last 2 years, considering the 1400 only went out of production a month or so ago.
