I bought these 3 years ago !

They are thicker than OEM ones, so it's a PITA to install them ! I gave up as I had trouble refilling the bag.

If I find them I'll send them to you, but don't have much hope !

All of them! LOL
Hat and I have the process completely streamlined.
Watch my videos on the PRO-1 on my channel. Super easy and I pre modify carts so the chips slip right on!!!

Hi, do you need the chips ? I just found them !

I can send them to you as a gift if you need them :)

Thank you Jose, I did see your videos; finally I will use OEM carts on my PRO-1, as I didn't get good results with PrecisionColors on my PRO-10... even with i1 Publish Pro 2...

I'd like to know the issues you were having and which inkset you are using. The latest or earlier? The earlier inkset forced me to take a good look and a whole summer's work to understand what the Pro-10 tries to do when it prints.... trying to reverse engineer of sorts the Pro-10 print engine. That work essentially culminated in my release of revisions at the end of last year.

There are some compromises in the aftermarket inkset that there will not likely be any solution for. Canon uses a very unique yellow with an extreme b value that is not available to aftermarket pigment purchasers. So if you need for example extremely intense orange the only solution is to use the OEM. There are some key pigments that Canon uses to their advantage by directly incorporating their unique properties into the print engine. Those Canon engineers are not asleep, let me tell you. The other color that is difficult for ANY aftermarket pigment to get properly is Red.

Even in dye ink, I had uncovered some proprietary tricks that Canon engineers had used to get the Pro-100 to perform well. Sorry I cannot divulge more but it is very clever work by Canon engineers...and it took me some work to discover it.

Refilling always entails some compromises. Whether that compromise is acceptable versus the savings is up to the individual user. Only OEM is equal to OEM.

Even as I write this, I have a revision to the new inkset for the R1900 through to the P400. This should be interesting to some. I have to decide between various properties of Photoblack. One key decision at this point is whether scratch resistance outweighs slight better Dmax and even Gloss retention.

There are a lot of decisions that are made at Precision Colors as we are no longer simply a reseller of IS inks anymore. Very very far from it today. Most of our inksets are unique to us and that is the only way to push the performance envelope of refilling for those with champagne tastes but saddled with beer budgets. Like myself.

Some question why we revise inksets? Because we are always on a quest for greater affordable performance for those that care.

@mikling This is the new inkset I believe, I bought it this summer from you.

Here is a gamut comparison of your inks VS OEM.

If I did print just photographs on glossy papers I guess that I'd use PrecisionColors inks for the price;
but there is a bigger difference on plain paper (I use Navigator paper), and I need extremely accurate colors, so unfortunately for me I have to buy OEM...
