I have performed a successful nozzel check pattern. I then tried to perform a print head alignnment This part does not end successfully, and ends with an auto adjustment error. I have tried this several times to no success. Where can I go from here?

most probably it is due to contamination of the viewing sensor or eye with ink . so put a piece paper towel damped with windex or head cleaning solution underneath the print head and move the head manually ,repeat it several times until there is no more ink stain on the towel. {to unlock the print head from the station turn the printer on ,once the head free its self from the station and move to the other side turn off the main power supply ( from the wall socket )}.
