The list of the supported models by WicReset shows that firmware changes for the P/T50 are not available with this software, so there must be another way I'm not aware of, that could be via a maintenance program, but I don't know where the get the other firmware.

I'm not sure if the change of the P/T50 model solve the problem becouse I have a T50 and it also slows down after a large print job especially when the pages have big images, the same happens with my wf3520, and I don't believe that the problem has to do with the usb cable becouse my 3520 is conected via LAN, maybe as someone said before it is an overheating issue.

first of all I would like to thank all people who participate in the discussion (it's great forum), I put high quality USB cable as seen in the image ,it didn't solve the problem. If it is overheating issue then is there any idea of how to install small cooling fan ( similar to the computer CPU fan )?

what kind of system are you using - e.g. Win7 32/64 bit ? I can find a few entries to your problem via Google, my first assumption at this time is a spooling problem - the spool file has a max limit of 2GB to my knowledge. What is the program you are using to print these jobs ? Try this - segment your print output into smaller junks - 10 images per print job, then directly start the next 10 images to print etc and watch what happens. I was running a print job via Qimage - separate print jobs per image - 40 all together with 2 interrrupts for resetting the cartridges with an R265 and CISS. Similar with a L800, no stops.
You can test and set as well the spool settings in the extended printer settings to - send data directly to printer , no spooling. Don't rescale your print to 300dpi, if at all use 360 or 720 dpi which are the genuine Epson print resolutions. You otherwise get avoidable interpolation errors - typically smoothing of fine details.

If you think your problem is caused by overheating, then I reckon it’s time to think about a new printer, because that problem usually becomes fatal after some time, and no amount of cooling will help, you could try slowing down the speed you print at if you are using draft mode, that could be your only saving grace.

if it is a thermal problem causing the slowdown you may try this - print 1 image 40 times, print out of a simple program and enter the number to print into the Windows printer window popping up, this just should create the spool file for one image, much smaller than a print job for 40 images, and printing this file repeatedly. If it is a thermal slow down problem the effect should come up at about the same number of pages as before. Sorry to waste your ink this way but this should allow to separate the effects - system/spool file vs. a thermal issue

my system is WIN XP- 32bit. i print using window printing wizard program . for photo i am using Epson easy photo print program.i delete the AUD file which is recommended by epson (was 3kb only). for the spooling i make some setting which was recommended by epson. i will try to reduce the printing to less than 25 pages and see the result until i find other solution.
thank you

If the spooling file is large then the printer will show slow response to printing order ( it may take minutes after you press print tab to start its printing job), this what happened to my friend the AUD file was about 48Mb, the printer took about 6 minutes to start printing. when he delete this file the printer respond quickly and start printing after a second and keep printing to the end with the same speed (he used his printer heavily around 200 pages in one go, almost 1000 pages daily ) , which is epson P50 using it for more than 5 years.
