Think this cartridge needs to be flushed?

I got a call from a customer refilling and using his Pro-100 commercially. After 30,000 pages his black is getting streaky! What has gone wrong? He's also only using one set of cartridges. None of the cartridges have ever been flushed.

Sounds like an ink flow issue. Try an OEM cart.

Run a service test print.

If OK, then just use the new cart for refilling...

Even if it is a bit expensive, I think a new OEM cartridge is the best test tool in this situation.

This guy reckons the OEM cartridges should last forever, so did you tell him politely to go flush the darn things.. :smack

Or could it be a problem with the printhead instead, and not with the cartridge ? Switching to a new cartridge should directly show it.

Definitely needs to be flushed. The bubbles must be horrendous!
