Hi,

Is it possible to use OEM ink after non OEM. The printer has been used with Non OEM and i'd like to use OEM.

Can you just install the OEM and use or do you need to clear the lines properly, and if so how?

Many thanks in advance

I'm using and testing quite a lot of different inks, dye and pigment. It's good you are cautious, I'm cleaning the ink channels in a printhead and tubes of a CISS when I switch between dye and pigment inks, I use a rinsing solution for that purpose, in a set of cartridges if applicable. When switching between dyes I test the yellow - I take a few drops of both inks into a small glass and watch whether they react , create a fallout, or the mix stays clean and transparent. I have never had any of such effects with other colors and never a problem, only in some cases with yellow, o.k., then I would rinse just the yellow ink path.

Thank you for the feedback. I will give the yellow ink path a rinse and hopefully that will be sufficient.

Thanks again
