I am new to the forum and recently I bought a Plotter ipf6400 to live in an underdeveloped country it is very difficult to pay the OEM Canon ink.

I wonder which 3rd party pigment inks could be used with this printer and how the problem would be bronzing effect on the black Glossy paper.

So far the only ink 3rd party I've seen is that of inkjetcarts.

sorry my english

Hi @Enzo and welcome, most of the 3rd party Canon pigment inks will work in your machine and Inkjetcarts are as good a place as any to get them from.

Bronzing only become a problem when viewed at an angle or in high light illumination and this can be over come with a coat of Gloss Optimiser, or the use of Satin semi-gloss paper..
