I'm planning to set up a new business to print personalised magnets and photo key rings,

I will be catering for the public and businesses, ideally want a printer that does mass printing which will not require cart changes every two days.

The print load will be from anything from 5 to 50 a4 prints a day.

Would love to hear your suggestions, I want to use a high quality printer which is efficient to run.

Any ideas which inkjet I can go for? Planning to print double sided on key rings.

Will appreciate your suggestions.thanks

Hi Onur and welcome.

What exactly is wrong with the printer you already have because I reckon it will do all the things you mentioned and more.. :hu

Totally appreciate the responses,

The current one I have is too expensive to run which is a problem when trying to do business,

In the end I purchased an Epson 1500w with the continous ink system which is very efficient to run, hopefully it will be delivered on Monday.

I would mainly be printing small photos hopefully the epson will be fine.

Why not try using 3rd party inks and refilling yourself or use aftermarket filled cartridges which is just as cheap and probably a better option..;)

I was thinkig about that option however really like the option of CISS which allows you to have a flow of ink going into the printer, ideally want to use pigment inks so cheap compatibles dont work as well,

The canon Pro 1 does not yet have an ink filling option or a CISS system so the Epson is ideal i guess.

I wouldn’t have mentioned the two options for the Pro 1 to you if they were not available right now to use, the Pro 1 can be easily refilled with available 3rd party inks as well as 3rd party filled cartridges also.

The Pro 1 has it’s own built in powered CISS so it doesn’t need another one, but trying to use pigment inks in a DIY Marriott CISS is not advisable, they simply don’t work successfully..
