Hi

Wondering if anyone could recommend a printer that can do the following?

We need to feed A4 paper into an A3 printer that can do full colour duplex, edge to edge. Paper weight is 300gm

Thanks

Your barking up the wrong tree with this one, it’s a bridge to far, I’m afraid.

Firstly I don’t know of any A3 printer that could do auto Duplex, the next problem would be that there are no printers that will even feed 300 gm stock in any duplex mode manual or otherwise.

Last but not least borderless printing is not available in duplex mode, so you’re only alternative is to print oversized paper with your A4 images on it and turn it over yourself then print on the back.

You may also need to leave your prints to stand to dry before putting them back through the printer once more, then when finished all you have to do is to trim all of the sheets all round to get that edge to edge perfect finish, good luck.

Well you did ask ?
Sorry... :(

I had this exakt request over and over again customers who want to print high volumes duplex one heavy paper

Bascially there are none Inkjet based systems that could do that

Xerox Color Press C75 is a Laser (Toner) Based machine with ALOT of finishing option wich gives you up to 300gsm Autoduplex print at crazy high speeds
these units usally come with a maintenance contract or as a lease but there a alot of machines availiable as refurbished units

How much of a monthly printing capacity are we talking about?

What kind of addintional finishing options do you require beside Auto duplex?

Is there any other requirement that is mandatory for a printer?
