10 cents for all inks and service repairs for an A3+ is pretty cheap! You don't want to know what the locals are asking here!

Let me give you an example:
Ricoh MPC 2000 color. They provide a refurbished machine 5 to 7 years old. They provide the inks and any repair service needed.
They charge:
-90 euros per month + VAT (23%) = 110.70€ (that covers the lease for the first 1500 copies, 1000 B/W and 500 colored). They set this cost as a plafon (ceiling price) in case you just print 200 copies. You stil have to pay 90+vat.

After the first 1500 copies the price is:
2 eurocents +vat for B/W copies =2.46 eurocents
15 eurocents+vat for colored copies =18,45 eurocents

With the ammount of prints i have per month i would need almost another 80-100€.
Thats around 200€ + per month.

Ok, that kind of copier provides A3+ size prints, but i don't need them for now. I have an A3+ B/W that does the job and i need only A4 colored. That's why a Mfp is a better choice for me. New, around 300-500 euros (that is around 2-3 months lease for a copier) and i have a new machine, with a warranty, not a refurbished one that is not even mine. With non OEM toners i would pay in a year only half the cost of a lease, and i 'll own the machine or sell it as used after a while.

I have seen up close the OKI MC332. Pretty solid machine, seems like build to last! Nice quality prints too! Not top notch but for office use they are above average.
I' m now checking the prices for the toner powder, the chip and the drum. Of course only from respectable merchants. The investment looks promising. I'm this close to "cheat" on HP after all this years with an OKI. Hope i won't regret it!

The new Pro x476dw printer has a lot of 3rd party support going for it right now with inks; ARC chips and a pretty good CISS too, so no need to stay with the OEM carts. :)
It would be great to get some useful feedback on operating this new printer from you.. :ya

Yeah, i know....but that's the problem though. I don't have enough feedback from other users to go and buy it. If it was a printer for the house or for mild work i wouldn't hesitate so much, but now...i don't know, i really don't know.

If you are worried about the longevity of the unit itself then get two, that way you’d be protected from any down time you may suffer from a poorly made printer, but then stop and think about it, HP do build blood good printers.. :)

We are using the x476 in our office and have refilled the set up cartridges plus replacement chip twice and print outs are as good the OEM. The printer is built to print 9000 pages for the xl black and 6600 for the color xl and as i have a few paper jams, the printer is just fine....

I've made my desicion and chose the Oki MC332dn instead of the x476dw. First time with a non-HP machine after almost 20 years (an epson stylus 200). Feels almost like cheating.

I gave the purchase order today, so by Monday i hope it 'll be here. After a while i will write a small review.

As an example

STS fully supports this model. Targetted ink, chips etc.

Not on website yet.
