Same behaviour with a PGI-9 cartridge, with the correct USB powered resetter.
Maybe no coincidence it was the MBK, the one that could not be reset before.

I only had two OEM chip failures on the PGl- 9 carts both were the cyan chips (CLl-8 chip rebadged), sometimes I find by using (The wrong) another resetter to reset the chip it can bring a failed chip back to life.. ;)
