Hi Gang

I bet you did not expect me back so soon. ha ha

Just a simple question this time, on printing on these disks I use hub printable disks, and I made the inner circle as small as it allows me too, -10. Is there any way to make it smaller yet, it still leaves a lot of room to print around the very inner circle. My MP530 left a pretty big space too, so I thought maybe the newer printer would have the ability to print closer to the hole.

Thanx....Gunny

I guess you are printing CD's using CD Label print. The standard setting in the program only allows printing the old printable disks, not the newer hub printable / fullface printable disks. Tweaking of settings will not fill the newer disks. The solution is to define a new format.

Here is a post which describes the procedure in short for the CD Label program: http://www.printerknowledge.com/thr...nk-and-paper-lights-flashing.5292/#post-38208 and a post with a more detailed instruction with screendumps, also for CD Label Print: http://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/my-new-canon-ip4920-dominican-republic.6426/#post-48188

If you are using Easy Photo Print to print your disks from, maybe this post and the following post by by oroblec will explain things: http://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/my-new-canon-ip4920-dominican-republic.6426/#post-48192

Not everyone that uses a Canon printer for CD printing is satisfied with Canons software but prefers third party CD printing programs. A couple of programs: http://www.surething.com/disclabeler/software and: http://www.acoustica.com/cd-label-maker/
