I think you might get a better survey by asking 100 randomly chosen people on the street. Forum members find that owning a printer (or several!) is a must, but what does "the average Joe" think?

I have three, one left and two on my right..........oh! and Sandra has two, neither of which is used for photo printing.
If I was just a happy snapper, no need much cheaper options. It took about a month into digital for me to get a printer, and that was a couple of days before I got PS & LR.

I think @The Hat needs an intervention and we should all encourage him to go to an Ink-aholics anonymous meeting.

Yeah - they have the 12 stop program. Printer #1, Printer #2, Printer #3, and so on, up to printer #12 then you have to stop.
