Here for the trophy but then again, nothing wrong with introducing myself as well. Hi! My name is Shawnie Michael! I am not a printer geek however, I would like to refill my inks rather than ordering 40 dollars worth in inks. And don't you just hate using sponge rather than filling it like regular cartridges should be? Freaking cheapskates.

The sponge is inside the cartridge is there to help the cartridge to work more efficiently and it not put in there as a fiddle, but yet it does look like that.

Now if you wish to learn how to refill your tri cartridges you should first read up on the procedure before attempting it the first time yourself, yes it is easy but there are many pit falls so the more informed you are the more you’ll enjoy doing it.
