ok it's been awhile since i have flushed any cartridges, today i flushed a 221 gray cartridge, well when you look at the sponge you can see that it looks pink, it is quite apparent that it did not completely clear the sponge. all i used was warm water and i backed flushed from the exit port, the ball has been removed and i also closed off the fill port where the ball sits to force water out of the vent hole above the sponge ( i noticed the 2 specks on the export after i took the pics but they are gone as i just blew on them as they were not embedded in the sponge) . hmmm do i keep flushing until the sponge is white or shall i run conditioner through the cartridge

As Mikling says thats good enough, reminds me of my 226 grey cartridge and mine was flushed with distilled water a number of times before putting it into service.

I believe photoshop holds the setting. I have not printed with photoshop for quite a while since I use Qimage for output.
