I use this method to quick dry my cartridge after giving it a good clean out. (Purging)

It’s based on exactly the same method that Ghwellsjr came up with some time ago; it’s just a little faster.

I only use a small amount of tissue paper too make contact with the sponge outlet under the screw head.

This allows gravity to remove almost all of the water from inside the cartridge,
and it also allows the wet tissue paper to dry quicker.

Did you get this idea after noticing toilet paper on your shoe? :gig

Is there tissue paper between the paper towel and ink exit port? I would caution on the use of tissue paper as it more easily shreds and leaves particulate fibers on the sponge of the ink exit port which could lead to disruption of ink flow.

I do applaud your fearlessness :ep in having a bottle of ink perched on your printer! :clap

Stratman's Rule:

One can never have too much money, ammunition or toilet paper. :old
