@websnail , you're questioning if I'm looking at stats!?!?!?!

:th

The biggest things I need to keep an eye on are # of people hitting the site, or unique visitors which is the best indicators of health of SEO, links to the forum, engagement, etc., and posts per day... the #1 indicator of user engagement.

So, here are some screenshots:

Posts and new members per day:

That last graph is created by the new forum software. I now have all kinds of direct insight into the daily number of pics loaded, likes, topics, etc! It's VERY cool!

:thumbsup

I suspect a little intro video may be in order to help translate or explain some of the new functions.

I was thinking about a video, but it takes me forever to do them. Fortunately a lot of stuff that is intuitive, but I do want to do more screenshots of key features, etc., like those here:

I definitely need to do more, but it's hard to know which things need explanation and which don't since everyone has different questions.

I'm open to suggestions (and assistance ;) ).

BTW, I use a FANTASTIC program for grabbing screenshots and editing them on the fly: Greenshot It's free and super fast!

NEVERMIND! There was an admin setting that defaulted everyone to NOT getting alerts on tagged names... now @websnail @stratman @The Hat etc. should all get alerts (if not, lemme know)!!!

Odd, @websnail tagged me twice with the @mention in this thread. Once on Tuesday and once today, but I didn't receive an alert on either one of them.

Have any of you received an alert on a tagged post or noticed specifically that you have NOT received an alert when you've been tagged?

BTW, there is this setting in your "Alert Preferences" in your account:

Rob:

Nice graphs. Analysis of how and whom is accessing the web site can be invaluable. Good stuff.

I know I have @ you several times. I did not know if it worked or what you might receive.

Ya, I LOVE LOVE LOVE data! One of my favorite quotes:

“When performance is measured, performance improves. When performance is measured and reported, the rate of performance accelerates.”

At least you get to wear a diaper and some clothing, Uncle The Hat. :old

Wait a minute... did I just call myself a monkey?
