Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

I have about 30 refilled cartridges waiting on my shelf. Your postings made me curious. So I controlled them all. I could not find a single cartridge that has ink in its vent. - Really-not kidding. Perhaps you will build my refill-tool and then try to clogg the vent. I was not succesfull up to...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

I do not know why you are worrying about the vent. I have refilled over 200 cartridges the way that is presented in the video. I never had any Problems with These refilled cartridges. S o everything seems to work o.k. What would, in your opinion, happen if the vent would be flooded with ink?

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

I think the biggest advantages of the vacuum-filling-method compared to other methods is that the cartridge stays completely intact. So no ink could evaporate from the ink-chamber or sponge- chamber (which might change the viscosity of the ink). The method where a hole is drilled into the...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

@ThrillaMozilla believe me, if the last thing you do before taking off the syringe is pulling the plunger then this action will suck enough ink back out of the sponge so that everything works just fine. Please post any problems you encounter with the device! Would be interesting for me to know...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

@ThrillaMozilla of course you could use a bigger needle when building your own device. Then you won´t have to pull the syringe that hard. It did not bother me however. Just a training for my feeble body - LOL! I never fill the ink-chamber completely. Go into a shop and let the seller show you an...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

@ThrillaMozilla: watch the video of the "Fill Bill 2"-tool again. The "Fill-Bill" works exactly as my refill-tool and is sold for 100-225 Euro in Europe depending on the number of nozzles that comes with the tool. The fact that the ink-chamber fills after the sponge chamber has never caused any...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

@ThrillaMozilla: do not worry: I use my refill tool for about 2 years and refilled more than 200 cartridges and I never had any trouble concerning "flooding the vent". The air is sucked from the inner Chambers of the cartridge into the upper part of the syringe. So a vacuum is created inside the...

Your own vacuum-refill-tool for less than 20 dollars

@CakeHole : I used a ring-shaped sealing which is normally used for the flushing-device of a toilet. Here is an example: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Geberit-Glockendichtung-816-418-00-1-Heberglockendichtung-Spulkasten-Dichtung-/251798209357?pt=DE_Haus_Garten_Heimwerker_Bad_WC&hash=item3aa057c34d But...
