Hi all,
I have a Canon Pro9000 in great condition if anyone is interested. I've pretty much exclusively used MIS Associates refills and blank tanks with this since I got it with great success. It has been sitting for a few months so I don't know what the condition of the print head is in, BUT...
Just picked up an HP CP2025DN. It's a really nice printer for the price.
I'm looking for a good source for color laser refills and supplies. I'm looking for very good quality toner, good kit supplies, and most importantly, good customer service.
For inkjet needs, I've been with MIS Associates...
I'm looking for a disassembly guide for the Canon Pro9000. I'm willing to pay a few dollars. I had one for my i9900, but can't find a similar guide for the Pro9000. Any ideas? The guide had a webpage based guide where you selected what you wanted to remove or replace and it gave a breakdown of...
In my experience with Canon printheads (I've gone through a lot, and have had 4 or 5 different models), as soon as banding gets to the point where you can't stop banding with a good Windex soaking or air pressure cleaning, the head is toast.
Something about them gets so clogged that nothing...
I have a Canon Pro9000. Sometimes, I get a dark smudge on the top center of the print side of prints. The rest of the sheet is OK. The paper is flat with no problems. It is Red River 45lb SemiGloss.
Below is a scan of it. I also have a 600dpi scan if interested, but I think you can see what is...
Hello folks. First of all, apologies if stuff for sale is not permitted here. I did read the rules and I am not here to spam the board, but this is the first place I could think of where people would be interested in what I have to offer.
I ditched my Canon i9900, but I have a lot of ink left...
I print quite often on sizes that are square. Sometimes these are 5"x5" and sometimes they are larger.
The trouble is, on Canon's print driver, when you select Borderless print, it removes the Custom paper size from the paper size menu. Anyone have a way to add that back or print to any size...
I don't see anything saying the QY6-0055 does NOT fit the Pro 9000. The link below shows Pro9000 right on the box.

This link and every other that mentions the QY6-0055 printhead lists the Pro 9000. I think there is another senor that reads the chips as it passes or parks.

My thoughts exactly. I think I might attempt to verify all that all pins on the logic board are making it to the printhead terminal. I'd hate for it to be something stupid like a cold solder joint.
I just called Beck's CRS for info on buying a logic board. Apparently they are no longer available to Canon. Because of this, they are offering a trade-in for the Pro 9000 for $210. All I have to do is send Beck's my i9900. It would be rather stupid not to just do this, huh?
I know the Pro9000...
No I haven't been mixing printheads and printers. This i9900 worked 100%, but then I lost some nozzles on a printhead, which I attributed to bad ink that damaged the printhead. That problem was with photo cyan. I then ordered new printheads AND ink/blanks, loaded it all up, and this PM problem...
Oh, I actually did replace the purge unit from one of the other dead ones... but that one could be dried up as well. I did notice that after a few cleaning cycles, most colors lost significant ink in the tank but PM did not.. but I don't know if that's an electrical problem not printing ink from...
