Well the new Redsetter CLI42 works as advertised.

Got it 10 minutes ago - 8 carts reset in 5 minutes. All ink level displays working perfectly.

I am a happy camper.

you should try to reset before you refill, less messy that way..:thumbsup

Agreed, but in this case the carts were already in use when the resetter arrived in the mail. Succeeded with only minor leakage.

Was just about to suggest you stay close to the front door but you've obviously been following the tracker info.


Also good to know my confidence in the manufacturer was not misplaced.

Now where's all those resetter orders?

Arrived, tested on partially used Black CLI-42 cart. Reset the chip perfectly, removed ball ( 20 seconds ) topped off with Precision Colors Black ink for CLI-42, plugged hole with provided plug and reinserted it into the printer. No purge cycle took place. The PRO-100 is VERY good about not going through the lengthy purge cycles like others, specially Epson!
Checked ink status on PC and black is full.
Success.

Well don't think it was Roy then Joe. Rather Canada Post Corporation delivers earlier in the morning than United States Postal Service. Of course we need certification from Octoinkjet that both went into the mail system at the same time - no favoritism please.

What a coincidence. Right after the resetter was released!
